My Baby Graduated Preschool
Where has the time gone?! My first born graduated preschool, which means Kindergarten is next. I'm not sure I'm ready for him to be gone everyday all day. There has probably only been 7 days in his life where we weren't together, and now I need to cut the apron strings and let go.
I absolutely adore his preschool! They say the Pledge of Allegiance everyday, say a prayer before snack, and it's a Bible based curriculum.
They asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. Most of the kids wanted to be doctor's or teachers, firefighters or policemen; but not the kids in his class, they have imagination: fairy, sunflower planter, and of course, my super hero!
I'm not sure if his teachers will ever truly know how much they mean to Ryan. Mrs. Nikki and Mrs. Layne are the sweetest, most caring women, and they love their students and want the best for them. My little boy was so quiet, and scared to speak up in class when he started; but now he has come out of his shell and raises his hand a lot. He told me when I was putting him to bed after graduation, that he wants to go to preschool next year because he loves his teachers and will miss them. He isn't the only one, I will miss them too! I don't trust many people with Ryan, but I never worried when he was school. I pray that we continue to have success with great teachers in his life.
